Casas Manuel at A Place in the Sun Live

A Place in the Sun is a famous, highly visible name in the UK – to the British public it simply means ‘overseas property’ with a wealth of properties and agents on show.  Local estate agent Casas Manuel is set to appear at A Place in the Sun this March and are gearing up to present Costa Blanca properties to the great British public.

A Place in the Sun started life as a TV show first broadcast in 2000 and since then the programme and its presenters have become part of popular TV culture. A Place in the Sun and its highly successful spin-off series A Place in the Sun: Home or Away? are all about buying property abroad and opening up a world of opportunity to the public.

In 2005 A Place in the Sun Live was launched which quickly became the largest overseas property exhibition in Europe.

The most recent show in October 2014 was the busiest show since 2007 indicating renewed interest in the overseas property market from British buyers.

The centre-piece of A Place in the Sun Live is the Hub where the stars of the TV show and industry experts give advice and insight on buying overseas property.

Damon Haymes, Sales Director of Casas Manuel told the CoastRider, “This event offers us, and our clients, a unique opportunity to directly reach British buyers. There is no other pure overseas property exhibition in the UK, so this event presents us with a unique opportunity to meet and talk to prospective buyers – a genuinely qualified audience.”

The team from Casas Manuel will be at the 2015 A Place in the Sun Live in Manchester from March 13th to 15th so if you happen to be in the area, do pop in to say ‘hola’.  If you are currently selling your Spanish property and want to ensure exposure at this very special event, be sure to give the team at Casas Manuel a call on 966 714 719.

The most recent A Place in the Sun Live October 2014 was a great success. The exhibition saw an increase of 30% in visitor numbers with 6,536 people through the doors over the course of the three days, resulting in hugely positive feedback from exhibitors.

UK buyers mean business. They buy homes overseas for a number of reasons – holidays, investment, retirement – and have consistently bought more overseas properties than other nationalities. Interest in new destinations is once again increasing, though the long-time favourites of Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Florida remain popular choices for second home ownership.
