We are pleased and extremely excited to announce the date of this years Christmas Celebration. The festivities will commence at 18.30 on Friday the 18th of December at the Benijofar Office (Opposite the church on the main high street).

Each year company owner Manuel Rodriguez outdoes himself both with the activities that take place and also the decorating of the office (or should I say the Grotto!).

As always there will be a raffle, bouncy castle and music, mulled wine and mince pies, plus the 3 kings along with Father Christmas will be giving out free gifts to the children

The raffle itself is always hugely anticipated for the locals with all prizes being donated by local businesses – last year top prizes included a mountain bike donated by our recommended currency broker HiFX, a meal for 2 provided by El Gusto restaurant, and many more fantastic prizes.

All monies raised will be donated to the ADA association of Almoradi (Further details below)

The Association of Almoradi (ADA) was created in 1990 in response to the needs of a group of individuals with special needs.

During the first years of its existence the Association launched occupational workshops which manufacture products which are then sold on, and also developing leisure activities and free time as well as cooperation activities with local and regional organizations and associations.

It was necessary for the town of Almoradi to create an occupational center that would meet the existing demands of places for individuals with special needs and in 1995 the project itself was launched.

It was in 1996 when the doors of the Occupational ADA Center opened as part of the network of (Specialized Social Services Valencia) with a capacity for 32 people.

Standardization and social integration of the individuals is the most important goal for the Centre and they work every day, this is dependent on attention and intervention aspects involved in personal autonomy and integration in life community, including a dignified and remunerative work.

From the various workshops and programs the centre aims to achieve one simple goal – The social integration and independent and fulfilling life for individuals with special needs.
